Creating a Spot Light
A spot light can be created in the GafferThree's Object table by right-clicking in the light list section and selecting Add → Spot Light, or by pressing the Q key. It will be shown in the Viewer as a cone.

Shaping and Positioning a Spot Light
The Object tab serves to select the Spot Radius of the spot light. It also presents:
- The light's transform (which can be edited interactively in the Viewer).
- The option enable aim constraint which, if turned on, will display the standard GafferThree parameters for aim constraint.
Adjusting a Spot Light Shape Visibility
The spot light can be made Visible to Camera in the Object tab.
Controlling the Light from a Spot Light
The Material tab serves to control several parameters of the spot light. The effect of these are explained and illustrated in the next section.
