The clipping plane node is used to define clipping planes that have arbitrary orientation (contrary to camera's near and far clipping planes, which have a fixed orientation). Objects, or part of objects, beyond the plane are discarded by the renderer. Clipping planes can be grouped in sets, and the set that should be used for rendering should be selected in the render pass node’s "Clipping Planes" attribute.
