3Delight for Maya recognises Maya's Render Stats attributes. Since these attributes may overlap in functionality some of the 3Delight attributes assigned to a geometry (using the Geometry Attribute Node), the later will take precedence when defined. Here is a list of the supported Render Stats attributes and their 3Delight counterparts.

Render StatDescription

Casts Shadows

For shadow map renderings, if this attribute in off, the object will not be part of the shadow map rendering. In regular image rendering, if this attribute is on, the effect is identical to adding a 3Delight "Transmission Rays" visibility attribute and setting it to 'Opaque', which enables ray traced shadows. Note that if there is such "Transmission Rays" define for the object, this Render Stat attribute will be ignored. See Visibility.

Receive Shadows

This attribute controls if the object will receive shadows or not. The object must be shaded using Maya's Hypershade. There is no related 3Delight attribute for this Render Stat attribute.

Motion BlurThis attribute is equivalent to the 3Delight attributes "Transformation Blur" and "Deformation Blur". If either one is defined for the object, this Render Stat attribute is ignored. Turning it on is identical to setting both "Transformation Blur" and "Deformation Blur" to 'inherit'. Turning it off is identical to setting both "Transformation Blur" and "Deformation Blur" to 'off'. See Motion Blur.
Primary Visibility

When rendering an image, this attribute is identical to the "Visible to Camera" 3Delight attribute. If the later is defined for the object, this Render Stat attribute is ignored. See Visibility.

Visible In Reflections Visible In Refractions

These attributes controls if the objet is visible in reflections and refractions on other objects; this is only effective for reflections or refractions on objects shaded using Maya's Hypershade. These Render Stat attributes are a refinement on top of the "Specular Rays" 3Delight attribute, which controls object visibility in both reflections and refractions. For these Render Stat attributes to be effective, a "Specular Rays" 3Delight attribute must be defined for the object and set to a value different than 'Invisible'. See Visibility.

Double Sided

This attribute is equivalent to the "Double Sided" 3Delight attribute. If the later is defined for the object, this Render Stat attribute is ignored. See General.

Opposite__________

This attribute is equivalent to the "Reverse Orientation" 3Delight attribute. If the later is defined for the object, this Render Stat attribute is ignored. See General.
