3Delight for Softimage can export RIB files using the standard Render -> Export menu in Softimage. Depending on the settings in the Archives and RIB Export property page (see section Archives and RIB Export), 3Delight for Softimage will export a monolithic RIB or a multi-archive RIB. A monolithic RIB contains the entire scene and a multi-archive RIB will contain a series of delayed reads that will load smaller archives. It is also possible to export object archives for use as stand-ins (in Softimage version 7.0 and up).
