3Delight for Softimage supports toon rendering and inking out-of-the box, with the most important parameters working. The usual Softimage work flow is respected: just create the usual lens shader and plug the usual toon shaders into the surface ports. 3Delight doesn’t use ray-tracing for inking, this means that toon rendering is substantially faster than with the default renderer.
The quality of the ink is controlled using the usual quality settings in the Quality tab and not in the various shaders.
